There are a lot of water ionizers to pick from these days and while variety is typically a good thing, it can also lead to much confusion. However, despite the many excellent ionizers in our collection, there is one model that we believe to be the best pick, and that is the Chanson Miracle Max Plus. It follows the success of the previous Chanson Miracle Max with a range of improved features and some new tricks entirely, and overall we have only praise for it.
Best pH Levels
One of the most alluring capabilities of the Miracle Max Plus comes from its potential pH range. When used optimally it is capable of achieving pH readings from 2.4 to 12.1 and everything in between with an ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) of +1200 to -920. As far as figures go, these are very impressive even among the best of ionizers, and when you consider that they were achieved with only seven ionizing plates they become even more impressive.
Premium Quality
As a brand, Chanson always aims to produce truly premium devices that live up to their customer's expectations. Therefore, no expense is spared when it comes to the quality of materials used, which is most apparent in the construction of their ionization plates. All seven plates are made of titanium and have been lab tested to a level of 99.998% purity. They are also nanocoated with a thin layer of platinum to make the ionization possible. Now, these materials are relatively common in most ionizers, but the Miracle Max Plus stands out by using them in larger amounts to provide 246.5 total inches of surface area.
Beyond the materials used, Chanson also provides devices with designs that match their performance quality. In the case of the Miracle Max Plus, this means a touchscreen interface, which serves as a pleasant upgrade from the standard buttons seen in most ionizers. Having touchscreen functionality allows for a more comfortable user experience and a less cluttered interface, as functions that would have previously required a separate button can instead be accessed by pressing and holding existing buttons. Furthermore, it makes cleaning the ionizer a much simpler task, since its entire front face is made of a single sheet of glass.
Why the Miracle Max Plus?
If it wasn’t already clear, the Chanson Miracle Max Plus is an incredibly capable ionizer. However, for many, it can be tough to look beyond its price. Yet, there are many features unique to the Miracle Max range that other cheaper ionizers can’t compete with. The first of these is the RAD (Radial Action De-calcification) self-cleaning system, which cleans the device with every 40-litres of use. By doing so the plates in the Miracle Max Plus are able to remain scale free for a long time, which is the most common issue that plagues other ionizing models.
The Miracle Max plus is also equipped with a Himalayan rock salt injection system, which allows it to produce incredibly strong acidic or alkaline water no matter the quality of the source. Being able to use rock salts is especially useful if you have a water softening system built into your house, as other ionizers without this feature would fail to produce ionized water since the minerals in water are key.
Generally, we love this device. Its features and design help it to provide excellent performance without being an eyesore in the kitchen. The Miracle Max Plus may not be for everyone, but if you can afford it and if you’re interested in the benefits of ionized water, then we could have few better recommendations.
