Compact and easy to use, the Foodmatic is a great juicer for anyone looking for a practical design. The Foodmatic can fit into any size kitchen with ease, whether it be on the kitchen counter or stored away in a cupboard, this juicer makes juicing know hassle at all. Not only is this juicer compact, but it’s incredibly versatile with a homogenising blank and 6 nozzles, you can create sorbets, nut butter, pasta and much more. The Foodmatic is from the same family as Omega, who are renowned for there outstanding performance, which means you can be certain that the Foodmatic won’t disappoint.
Despite the Foodmatic’s compact size, this juicer still has an efficient motor that has a silent operation with up to 30 minutes of continuous use. The Foodmatic has a low rotational speed of 80 RPM, which will allow you to extract the maximum nutritional value from any produce and minimise oxidation.
Even for the smallest of kitchens having a reliable kitchen appliance is important and the Foodmatic has some great features that make it durable. With an auger made out of GE Ultem, which is 8 times stronger than normal plastics, you can have confidence that your juicer will be able to handle even the toughest of ingredients. As a standard most juicers come with BPA free plastics and the Foodmatic is no different, meaning these parts won’t break easily and no chemicals from the plastic will leach into your juice. Another handy feature is the reverse switch which will minimise severe clogging and will help your juicing process run smoothly and efficiently.
The Foodmatic has a wide feed chute which instantly reduces preparation time, the chute can take anything up to a small apple whole. From our own testing, we found that it was very well suited to getting the most out of tough vegetables, such as carrots and leafy greens, which can be fed relatively quickly down the chute with no risks of jamming. We also found that this juice produces a very high yield, especially for leafy greens and you can adjust the pressure via the nozzle to alter the consistency of your juice. Included with the Foodmatic are 6 nozzles and one homogenising blank which will allow you to make pasta, sorbets, nut butter, nut milk, baby food, dips, sauces and can even grind foods such as coffee and parmesan.
It’s clear to see that you are getting more than just a juicer and with all this to consider, it’s rare that a juicer comes onto the market with such amazing performance, at a price below £300. So if your new to juicing or just want a budget-friendly kitchen appliance then the Foodmatic is well worth considering.
