The H-AA is part of the latest generation of elite Hurom vertical juicers and is the flagship model, a direct replacement for the 2nd generation HH 11. It has an elegant design, that has been streamlined to reduce its size, without impacting on performance. The motor in this model runs incredibly quietly and turns at only 43 RPM, a speed that is perfect for getting a maximum yield. The H-AA and its sibling models are also incredibly versatile, with a range of screens that will allow you to make: nut butters, sorbets/ice creams, smoothies and more. Having such a wide range of functions is rather uncommon amongst vertical juicers and this device does an excellent job, highly exceeding expectations.
The Hurom H-AA is an amazing juicer, that deserves the respect of other high fliers in the market. It has a motor that runs incredibly quietly, using only 150 watts of power, making it more enjoyable to use than past models. This motor also runs at a steady 43 RPM, a perfect speed for effective slow juicing, providing you with an amazing yield and bone-dry pulp. The Slow Squeeze Technology used in the HZ allows all extracted juice to have an improved natural taste and leaves it packed with more nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants.
For this latest juicer generation, Hurom have developed new technologies that allow improved function of the screen and spinning brush. This is achieved through a gear mechanism at the base of the juicing bowl. The gears are powered by the motor as it turns the augur, but their design allows them to slow down the rotation speed. This allows the screen and spinning brush to turn at a slower speed, of only 17 RPM. This new function will reduce the amount of foam that is produced with the juice and allows for a new design, where the augur doesn't have wings. This is especially useful as past models were more likely to suffer damage on these wings, which would prevent the juicer from working correctly. A wingless design removes this risk and allows the augur to operate individually, without the requirement for it to also power the screen and spinning brush.
This model while not as exceptional as its sibling the HZ, makes use of some highly durable materials. The augur and strainer, while not metal, are made from heavy-duty GE Ultem. This plastic is 8 times stronger than the standard plastics you would find in other juicers. The rest of the components are made of BPA free, ABS plastics that have been durability tested, ensuring that they all have a long life-span that can match the rest of the juicer.
The H-AA can also boast great versatility, a rare trait in vertical juicers. It comes with a fine & coarse screen and an ice cream strainer. These accessories provide you with all you need to produce the range of products mentioned above. This versatility also shows through in its ability to juice all kinds of produce efficiently. Typically, a vertical juicer shows much better yields with soft fruits and vegetables. However, with the HZ we've had great success juicing tougher vegetables such as celery, carrot and beetroot.
